Motivation and main idea
The present report is based on a real-world dataset that drwas upon significantly simplified data. The study uses applied statistics and business analytics to investigate the logistic process and provide rigorous insights to logistics companies. The analysis sheds light on the inefficiencies detected in the middle of the order fulfillment process.
Probing the datasets, the results of the analyzed data suggests that there are informative insights about the following: Tmall.com (e-marketplace), Cainiao (Logistics arm), Merchant (sellers using Tmall.com), Logistic Company (carrier), and Customer (buyers). The data analysis is based on available data. Its main purpose is to inform its audience about the degree of efficiency in the delivery process.
The findings are going to provide the audience with ideas on how to improve the logistics process and make it more efficient through pointing out all the inefficiencies detected by the analysis.
